Windows 8 Insight

Windows 8 so far is the latest Operating System Microsoft had created.  Its appearance so far is far more different from its previous versions of windows.  It had taken the appearance similar to that of an android.  It still have the desktop appearance also; however, u must click the desktop apps in order to show the desktop.  This operating system had brought a new look to the future Microsoft is taken. I personally enjoy this new look to this new operating system.  It still have some features in Windows 7 and Windows Vistas such as the warning box asking to open a file.  Another aspect I like about Windows 8 is the ability to install a file and instead of look in the start menu the classic way like in Windows 7, I can go to the app screen and click on the icon I want to run. I would Highly recommend to buy Windows 8 If you are looking for something with the Android feeling to it.

Tablet-Laptops convertible specs

 Today I will talk about the latest trend on the Computer industry.  The Computer-Laptop Convertible is a very unique product.  What makes this laptop stand out from other laptops and notebooks, is the ability to transform into a tablet. There's have been some good reviews on some company that made these Laptop tablet convertibles. According to the Cnet review, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is overall good with the 360 degrees rotatable screen.  The bad thing about it is that the keyboard is exposed thus making unintentional typing more common.  Microsoft has created tablets that could become a laptop in an instant by attach a keyboard to the tablet.  They also did testing where the tablet are more durable and harder to break.  Toshiba had made a tablet where it could be a laptop but instead of flipping the screen, you slide the screen over the keyboard which leaves only the touch screen to used.  These innovations on making laptops and tablets to be one devices would make life a lot easier.  It would be a new trend in how laptops are being made and may become the new standard in the laptop industry.

Initial CIT-287 Post Assisgnment

Hello Readers, My name is Steven Blackmon.  I am 23 years old and I am an attending Edgecombe Community College.  My major is Information and Computer Technology.  I love computers throughout my life.  It amazing what you can do up there. My experience so far have been typical internet user, where I can figure out connection problems, and some minor hardware problems.  I also been train in the military for IP Routing and major network configuration on the PROMINA.  I haven't work with any companies besides the military that uses IT Field; however, I did have some troubleshooting experience when I was younger helping my neighbors, and friends out with their company.  Every week i will be posting up new blogs regarding to new technologies that have been on the rise.  Expect the next blog to be posted sometimes at the end of this week.  Thank you for taking the time out reading this blog and I hope I would get more readers in the near future.
